FUMC Parent’s Day Out is a place where each child can learn and play in a Christianatmosphere. Children are taught through a wide variety of crafts, stories and music.Each child and parent is very important to us. We want every child to be excitedto come to our program and every parent to know your child will be loved and taken care of. We’d love to have you join us.
Mission Statement
The mission statement of the First United Methodist Church Parent’s Day Out (PDO) program is to nurture children and their families by providing a physically and emotional safe Christian environment.
* We strive to acknowledge and encourage the emotional, social, physical, spiritual, intellectual, and creative development of each individual child. We emphasize the value of each child and foster self-esteem, self-discipline, and intrinsic motivation.
* We strive to empower parents by providing an environment of trust and reassurance. Parent’s participation in the care and education of their children is essential to our mission.
* We strive to support each other as a team of dedicated care givers.
