Girlfriends of Glory hosted a Community Scrap & Craft Retreat, aimed at anyone who needs a break from everyday life to get away and share some fun. It was held August 20th and 21st, at the Fellowship Hall. We had 14 attendees, including 4 out-of-town guests! Participants paid ($20) to have their own 6' table and 3 provided meals... we scrapped and crafted for 5 hours Friday and 12 hours Saturday! There was music, door-prizes, take home gifts, demos, meals, sharing of ideas, supplies and projects, snacks, and tons of fellowship. Nearly everyone said, "We must do this again!"
