My three children have all gone through Methodist Day School. I know that the kids are having fun and are truly learning. We cannot use spelling to keep any secrets during conversation around my child who is currently in the kindergarten program because she can figure all the words out. Each of my children received lots of individual attention and love from their teachers. (Yes, love!! You can tell that each one of the teachers really cares about every kid in their class.)

I have been extremely satisfied with our two year journey at Methodist Day School. Jared has learned things that I couldn't teach him at home, and has had the academics that I started with him reinforced and extended. His social skills have greatly improved through the patient and gentle teaching styles that the educators use. The teachers are easy to talk to and extend the values and rules that we use in our home. It is hard to trust your most prized blessing to others, especially at the tender age of 3. However, I have not yet once regretted my decision to start Jared in the Methodist Day School Program. I feel and know he is getting a quality education in academics, socialization, and basic Christian fundamentals that will ground him for his future. I plan for Jared to complete Kindergarten at Methodist Day School, and for his younger sister to go through the program too. It is money well spent to give my children the very best for their future.

I just wanted to tell you that we are seriously considering enrolling Chloe at MDS this fall! It is a very hard thing for me to do as I selfishly want to keep her home. I know, now, as I've sent Cali off to the third grade how quickly it all passes.
More than anything, I want to expose my girls to every good thing I can in this life, and that would include Methodist Day School! What sweet memories we made there when Cali attended Pre-School with Mrs. Lewis, Pre-K with Mrs. Goolsby and nothing but good things to say about those three beautiful years at MDS! I'd heard about Mrs. Lewis for so long, and after sharing those three years with her I've decided you can't say enough good about her and do her justice! She so individually loves each child and is so blessed to recognize the individual needs of all the children! And then we move on to Pre-K and are blessed with Mrs. Goolsby for a year! She is the most calm fun wonderful teacher! I will forever cherish the scrapbook she made for Cali! And last but not least we were so blessed to have Mrs. Hunt in kindergarten! She must be the most patient teacher I've ever met. Cali adored Mrs. Hunt! And so did the rest of the family!
So I could never not enroll our little Chloe!

Methodist Day School has been a part of my families' life for nearly 20 years. Whether serving as a staff member, parent or volunteer, I feel MDS has provided my children and the families of Terrell and the surrounding area with the best in Christian Preschool. A nurturing staff with our children's education at heart, MDS provides a modern curriculum, Christian beliefs, and safe, friendly facilities to promote the best learning environment for our children. This exceptional preschool at First United Methodist Church will always hold a special place in my children's life. Oh, and mine, too.
