This is a 10K adventure race that will BLOW YOUR MIND! (Over 30 obstacles, traversing swamps, elevated over under, high walls, low crawls and much more) Plus team building!

All youth need to attend if possible. Leave church at 8:30 am; return at 2:00 pm same day. Cost is $5 pp plus lunch money.

Youth Summer Camp

July 24 - 28, 2012

Cost $249 per person
Half of the cost ($125)
is due on May 15

The Youth are heading back to Extreme Camp in Lindale again this year. Registration forms are available in the Youth Room. We have 5 spots still available so turn in your form soon to reserve your place.

Fundraisers are scheduled to help defer cost. Ask Angie for more details on the Fundraisers.

Road trip!

Parents and youth are invited to purchase tickets to a May 26 Ranger Game and Casting Crowns concert. The tickets are only $11.00 per person. I need a head count and money by April 25. Please call the church office 972-563-6274 to make your reservations.

If you wish to ride in the vans meet us at the church parking lot at 2:00 pm.

Youth Summer Camp

This summer we are diving into the depths of Gods story, heart, and plan for reconciliation for all of us. Join us as we get immersed in the Living God, Jesus Christ. Get immersed this summer at Extreme Camps- Texas Christian Camps

The Youth just wanted to thank everyone for the awesome support we had from the church during our 30 Hour Famine. We raised over $1,600!!!

The youth couldn’t have done it without all your support. The money will be sent to the World Vision Fund to feed 4.55 kids around the world for a whole year. Not only that but two of our youth get a chance to go to Zambia in the mission field for a Study Tour. More information will follow.

Don’t miss the CAR SMASHING EVENT that will happen behind Taco Bell.

You can take a swing at the car, 5 swings for $5. All proceeds will go to World Vision Fund.

Plans are underway in making the Praise and Worship band a growing trend here @ FUMC-Terrell.

We will be having a Chicken Spaghetti Lunch after church on the 5th of February in the Fellowship Hall. Donations will go to the purchasing of amplifiers, and other band necessities. Hope to see you there!!!!!!

Packet will be handed out at Kick off meeting on February 1.

How do you start a Youth Praise Band? With lots of SPAGHETTI!

The youth invite everyone to the Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser following morning worship on Sunday, February 5, in the Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of electronic equipment and music for the new Youth Praise Band that will be leading the youth Underground Movement Worship Ser- vice on Wednesday evenings.

Young singers and musicians are already practicing with Music Director/Assistant Youth Director Eric Robertson. "We would love to have your support," says Eric, "as we begin this venture for glorifying Christ through Contemporary Worship."
