FUMC Terrell News and Events

FUMC offers 3 different Sunday School classes to kids ages preschool to 6th grade.

Our Preschool class offers a wonderful traditional class that has a new Bible discovery each week.

For our children Kindergarten to 4th grade we offer HANDS ON APPROACH to learning about the BIBLE. Each week we discover a new treasure either through cooking, drama or games.

For our 5th and 6th grade students we offer GRAPPLE class. In the GRAPPLE class we talk about issues that TWEENS struggle with and how God wants them to handle them.

We are starting a new Sunday School class for everyone involved with a family. The class, Family Matters, will begin meeting Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 9:30 a.m., upstairs next to the Children’s Wing. The class will start with the book, Making Love Last a Lifetime co-taught by Pastor Keith L. Head and Shirley Miller.

To kick off the new class, we are having a Covered Dish Dinner at Amie & Kent Shillings’ home at 319 Rash Lane in Terrell, on Saturday night, September 10. All parents and children are invited!!  We will start at 5:30 p.m.  Please come!

We hope you will want to be involved with all of these GREAT activities! They are a GREAT way to meet new parents and a GREAT way to have fun and laughter, too!  Parenting is very hard work, and it helps to have support from other parents! Of course, you do not have to be a member of FUMC to participate in any of the activities. Please join us!
