Palm Sunday Parade and Egg Hunt

 

FUMC hosts its annual Palm Sunday Parade and Egg Hunt the Sunday before Easter.  At 10:40 a.m. everyone is asked to meet behind the sanctuary where the donkey parade will start, with Jesus greeting the children and adults.  As the parade journeys to the sanctuary,  we will be waving our Palm Branches and continue the parade as worship begins.  After the church service FUMC hosts its annual Egg Hunt.  Don't worry about bringing eggs, just bring your basket.  Age-appropriate groups hunt together.

 

Church Wide Picnic

 

On a 5th Sunday in the Spring we have our annual church picnic at the Killian Farm. We head to the farm right after church service; therefore, we are asked to wear casual attire to church. At the Farm we will have plenty for everyone to eat: hot dogs and hamburgers with lots of desserts. Ride in a paddle boat or bring your own outdoor activities such as a fishing poles or kite. One year, we witnessed a baptism in the Killian tank.  

 

Trunk or Treat

 

All children are invited to our Trunk or Treat event that is held annually on October 31st  from 5:30 to 7:00pm.  Dress up in your funny costumes as we fill your buckets with candy and treats.  We will also have carnival games and a cake walk in the parking lot.  Grown ups are invited to decorate the trunks of their cars and distribute candy. 

 

Night in Bethlehem

 

We took families back in time and make some family memories they’ll treasure forever. As soon as they set foot at FUMC, they travelled back to ancient Bethlehem.  They tasted, saw and smelled what daily life was like when Jesus was born. We had shops and activities for kids of all ages.

 

Christmas Eve Service

  

We hope you can come to our candlelight Christmas Eve service.   We have two different services on December 24th.  The 5:30 pm service is a kid friendly communion service.  

Our traditional Candlelight Service is held at 9:00 pm.   We would love it if you could come and join us for one of these services.
